Fake tan

My Fake tan seems stick to my knees. I’ve exfoliated and moisturised. What could the problem be ?

Think that knees are generally dryer and you don't sweat from there so, little transfer. What are you applying with?

And what product?

Do you rub it in everywhere else first and then up over your knees with the dregs of the product on the mitt? That seems to work for me.

I apply 2 pumps and work my way up from the ankle. My knees are extremely dry

Try exfoliating your knees with one of those Korean or morrocan mitt things. You can get them off amazon. They will get loads of dead skin off, you'll be amazed

I remember once reading an expert application guide:

1 - exfoliate thoroughly, special attention to corners and dry patches - ie knees

2 - moisturise heavily with decent product. Go to bed

3 - FOLLOWING DAY - apply the fake tan

Works for me

It makes my age spots go really dark these days. If I fake tan I look like I’ve been creosoting a fence. So annoying.

I use these cheapos for exfoliating. I use them dry on knees and ankles etc. they work brilliantly. Then drench in moisturiser overnight, and apply tan next day.
