Following on from the thread about what perfume gets the most compliments...what dupes on pp are most like the orginals (without the huge price tag).

Cacharel Gloria, discontinued back in the early 2000s I think. Absolute dead ringer, I was delighted to be able to wear it again.

All the Tom Ford dupes I've had have been pretty spot on.

TattiePants · 11/06/2023 10:34

I agree with the pp, the Tom Ford dupes are pretty close as are Byredo.

tobee · 12/06/2023 00:09

Repeating what I said on that thread Issey Miyske l'eau d'issey

LadyOfTheCanyon · 12/06/2023 03:22

All the Jo Malone ones are good and last longer than JM originals.

Their Byredo, Le Labo, Penhaligons, Frederic Malle and Parfums de Marly copies are pretty good. Hermes also pretty spot on.

I've found the Creed ones I've tried to not be all that great.

Some of their more niche copies can be a bit hit and miss.

The majority of fragrances on there have reviews.

More specifically the dupe of Byredo La Tulipe is exquisite for the summer. I'm wearing it every day at the moment!

Karmakamelion · 12/06/2023 17:58

Has anyone smelt how alike the halfeti is to the dupe?

Personally I found Red Roses to be one of their rare fails

@tobee

Ah, interesting. It's not one of my faves so I haven't tried that one.

Artificial rose notes can be tricky so it's not surprising that one is a thumbs down.

Has anyone tried the dior addict dupe? Thank you

MerylSqueak · 13/06/2023 07:01

Their dupe of Issey Miyske l'eau d'issey is fab. It lasts really well.

I shop at perfume Parlour - love their products!

Is it better to buy oil or EDP? Which is better value for money vs the amount you apply & longevity?

I have this one. A lovely scent but the perfume spray is dark and stained my clothes! So I have to wear it on skin and let it dry before getting dressed.
