Help me with a summer bag

My summer wardrobe is very classic. Think Ralph lauren striped shirts, blue white and tan. Broderie anglaise dress in black. Mexican embroidered top.
I cannot work out my summer bag. I am a committed backpack person as I walk around my city a lot and I am a packhorse, carrying a notebook, a book to read etc as well as stuff so I go out in the morning and stay out all day. The best looking and matching aesthetic bag would be a straw basket with a tan leather trim. What's the summer backpack equivalent? I just cannot find anything that works

This is lovely and I've been thinking of tan leather but leather just feels too heavy in the summer. I know I'm overthinking it!

I considered a straw backpack but they were either the French Market style (1 huge pocket) which would be very impractical or very floppy which wouldn't stand up to a sudden shower/daily use

These are so close aren't they? Like if there was an exact half mix of these . The size and shape of the first one (perfect colours) but with the fabric and texture of the second one.

No sorry unfortunately not. I normally like everlane so good shout but I want something more luxurious than this. I don't like the canvas type backpacks. I'm so fussy aren't I !

Not really as they have all had something a little bit 'wrong'

I was looking at this type but I think the one big basket is a bit impractical for day to day life like finding your purse, keys etc

This is stylish but I definitely feel leather is too heavy for the summer
