It's long and curly and inclined to frizz and going grey in some areas.

No I'm not cutting it.

Any shampoo and tub of cream conditioner for dry, curly, frizzy hair and rake with fingers then wash out.

Then something to promote the curls - Frizz Ease spray and mousse so far both good.

Then Plop and scrunch technique! I only just learned it ...

Bend head forward, drop ends of hair into towelly hands, push up, squeeze, release, repeat a few times til curls forming up nicely then LEAVE IT ALONE. When it's air dried, shake it out. Too hot for a diffuser.

What have you discovered a bit late?

Thanks! I'll have to try this, I've got hair like yours and I've never known what to do with it. I normally just tie it back. Do the curls last all day (although I'd be happy if I just looked good for a few hours lol).

They do last all day tho I haven't been caught in a downpour or a damp mist yet …

Also beware using too much product, to avoid the crunchy springs effect

I discovered 10 years too late that my grey hair is really nice with different strips of colours. I'm 51 and I could have saved sooooo much time and money not having it dyed Grin

Well at age of 55 I’ve literally just discovered (thanks to a thread on here), that the old fashioned Nivea in the blue tub makes a great (and cheap) night cream.
