Nice looking mens trail runners?

Looking to get some trainers for dh, I'm thinking trail runner type as we go camping and out walking so need something more rugged than a simple fashion trainer and a bit practical for mud etc.
I like the retro runner new balance types but they tend to be suede.
Can anyone recommend something nice looking that doesn't cost an absolute fortune? Prefer navy/blue and khaki type colours generally. I'm struggling to find something!

They look the sort of thing! Just looking at the reviews lots of people saying they tear where the foot bends after a short time.

Have a look on sportsshoes OP

Usually have good deals on and they sell all brands

asics and brooks are good brands for trail shoes

I have La Sportiva trainers that were bought for trail running but I mostly wear round town. Trail running shoes don't tend to be terribly tough. They're only designed to do 1000km and they don't have much bounce. If you want tough and supportive, you need to look at approach shoes or hiking trainers. On or Merrel do some nice ones.

Merrell ones are good if you are after a shoe for walking rather than running up and down muddy hills

Go to somewhere like Cotswold Outdoors and get them fitted

I got these for DH recently. My women's version was so so comfortable that I wanted him to have similar. I like that the colours aren't 'out there' iyswim so that fine for any casual wear but bought for a walking shoe as we fairly frequently do 12k or so with a stop for a lunch etc
Pic is from next site but we got reduced at JD. These are gore tex too
