Your last purchase that wasn't something you needed, but something you WANTED.

I feel guilty if I buy something I don't need, even if it's only a few quid. I think my last 'luxury' purchase was a £20 handbag!

I brought myself a Gucci clutch bag for £695 that I can’t afford 😩because I split up with the love of my life😞. Trust me I can’t afford it I regret buying it.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2023 22:23

A massage and facial last week and an Eastpak suitcase. I did need a suitcase, but decided to splurge on a good one.

Tisfortired · 07/06/2023 22:24

Look Fantastic had a 20% discount yesterday, I am a few months PP so thought I’d treat myself to a few bits to maybe feel a bit more like myself.

Color Wow dreamcoat spray because my baby hairs/frizz is MAD since baby #2.

Garnier blends moisturiser, only £6 but I’ve heard lots of good things about it

La Roche Posay tinted moisturiser, mine was running out

Nars orgasm liquid blush

A Maybelline mascara which is meant to be really good

CeraVe hydrating cleanser

Revolution moisturiser that my friend recommended, again only around £6 but she is my beauty guru and I trust her so I have high hopes!

Lastly some new beauty blenders because mine were getting gross and not used them since December when baby was born so much be harbouring all sorts 😬😂

£100 altogether but it feels like a lot of stuff and will last me ages!

Splurged on this dress today to wear to summer events including my son’s primary graduation 😊

I spent £1,280 in the Net A Porter sale Blush

It's a huge amount but at LEAST 75% of it will be going back; I have coveted a dress from a certain brand for the last year and this particular style was 40% off. I have just gone through a grueling redundancy situation while on mat leave and promised myself when it was all over I'd treat myself to said dress, so it's kismet that it's gone into the sale at the time I can afford it. I ordered it in every colour way available so I can see which looks best!! We have two upcoming weddings so it'll see me through them and beyond.

Also ordered a pair of my favourite leggings at 30% off (they're expensive so I refuse to pay full price), and a couple of jumpers which I will return at least one of.

Tigs333 · 07/06/2023 22:28

Lashify lash system, I am addicted and my lashes look amazing (staying on for at least 7 days even through swimming)

toomanyleggings · 07/06/2023 22:29

I just bought the new Charlotte Tilbury glowgasm face palette. I’ve also bought myself a new jumpsuit.

That small uniqlo bag that has been everywhere for about a month, in yellow. I normally use a Cross body bag anyway, but this is really comfortable and yellow cheers me up. :)

I have three of these in different colours! You can fit such a lot in - I love them

Davina Mccall's book: Menopausing. It's 99p on the Kindle daily deal today.

Charlotte Tilbury magic serum and beautiful skin foundation, well over £100 for 2 items & no freebies😯Before covid you used to get samples from the beauty counters. Not anymore you don't.

I love the smell of the magic serum

CheerfulYank · 07/06/2023 22:34

This perfume :) It was cheap. It’s quite nice though.

£28 on books today

Anon9898 · 07/06/2023 22:41

2 pairs of glasses from glasses direct

Ineedwinenow · 07/06/2023 22:41

A pair of Levi 501s straight leg, frayed edge plus a long sleeve teeshirt from a Levi outlet near me which came to £81.00 altogether which is great as the 501s that I’ve just bought are normally 100ish on their own, not sure how much the top would have been full price but I definitely feel like I’ve got a bargain Grin

HawdMeBack · 07/06/2023 22:42

Popped into Asda today to pick up wrapping paper and milk and came out with a pair of trousers, a pair of pumps and 2 tops.

TomatoSandwiches · 07/06/2023 22:44

I splurged a bit today and bought myself a new perfume, Dolce by D&G, neroli scent is my new favourite.
I also was intrigued by a MB scent, Milk Musk, I'm not sure yet about it yet but I definitely needed to take it home.
I also spied a lovely Denby salad bowl, it's large but I'm doing IF and having a big fat salad once a day so it will serve its purpose and looks pretty.

Museya15 · 07/06/2023 22:48

Dior moisturiser, eye cream, and cleanser. Bought it with my birthday gift voucher. I think I've aged terribly so thought I'd try some luxury.

Mariposista · 07/06/2023 22:52

It's a bit of a sad one, but I bought some flowers for my gran's beautiful cut glass vase. She died two months ago, and always had flowers in it in her house. The vase was a wedding present to her years ago. I now have the vase and will make sure there are always flowers in it. Really got to me today buying them.

Trixiefirecracker · 07/06/2023 22:53

I just bought some jewellery from a designer on Etsy. She blows glass necklaces and charms and they are very pricey (for me). I felt so guilty but have been coveting her work for ages and I just got paid for some work so I splurged.

whenindoubtgotothelibrary · 07/06/2023 22:55

Two things that definitely weren't essential but am really pleased with:

Tan leather Fitflop Pilar platform sandals that I absolutely love and seem to go with everything

One of those Revlon hot hairbrush dryer things - like a paddle brush crossed with a hairdryer. It's fantastic.

caringcarer · 07/06/2023 22:55

A bracelet to reward myself for losing 2 stones.

Bananaspliff · 07/06/2023 22:56

The new Dior blusher in the shade rosewood. Didn’t need another blusher but it’s so pretty I had to have it.

That is really lovely. It's a way of making sure she's always with you.
