Featureless face on photos??

I was reviewing some photos from a recent work event and I realise that my face looks sort of featureless. In person, I think I look relatively normal but on the full-length photos I'm just a pale blur. Short of piling on male up with a trowel (not my style) or wearing glasses, what can I do?? Am thinking a shorter cut (hair is currently below shoulders) and fringe might help?

Well, without seeing a photo it’s hard to see what you mean. Do you have a shapeless face? I know you don’t want to trowel on makeup, but if you are currently wearing foundation without adding anything else, that can sort of obliterate your features. A blusher might be enough to put some shape in.

I don’t know if this is what you mean OP but as a child, my older cousin who was a good artist drew caricatures of the family. When it came to me he said he could draw me properly because I was plain. It’s something I’ve always remembered but never stopped me feeling like I’m actually gorgeous 😊

Ok blusher sounds relatively non-threatening. I might have to watch some tutorials to work out where to put it

Eyebrows being dyed a dark blonde helped me. My natural colour is the same colour as my skin, which is unhelpful.
A good hair cut and hair colour, if you have long hair, shape it around the face.

I had my eyebrows done a few months ago and they were so dark I felt ridiculous. Maybe I should try again and warn them that my hair takes very quickly.

Love this attitude!
