Or any alternatives? DH went on a stag do last week and went flying whilst absolutely slaughtered in the bathroom, he's smashed his eye and nose black eye cuts the lot (was with my dad and brother who have assured me this is the truth). Anyway, the cuts are going to scar I can just tell what is the best treatment?

Honestly get some elizabeth arden 8 hr cream. I know it's a bit sticky for the face, but it works like a charm on scars.

Actually anything oil based will help. Tissue oil, baby oil, you don't need to buy a special scar treatment oil. The trick is to massage the area while running it in.

Forgot to ask if he had stitches? If so only do this after the stitches are out.

No he didn't have stitches the "lads" sorted him out. It's healing okay now but I can just tell looking at it that it will scar.
