Trousers help

Can anyone recommend me some trousers I might get on with? Trousers have been a life long challenge for me as I seem to have quite fat calves and reasonably big thighs, I'm currently a size 16 but have had this problem even when I was a 10.

I really like the Lucy & Yak Alexa trousers as they fit and look OK, but I don't like the jazzy prints on me. They are super comfortable though which is what I'm after.

I'm looking for trousers (not jeans) which aren't wide leg but which fit a wider calf. I don't like the cropped length as I can't stand having cold ankles. Ideally I'd like a really comfortable waistband too.

I've tried loads of "standard" styles, e.g the M&S joggers but my calves just don't fit (my thighs are also snug in some of those styles but my bum and waist are fine).

Any ideas.... am I looking for something that doesn't exist?

M&S cargo trousers are nice - they’re roomy and very comfortable. In lots of different colours too.

I find tapered at the best style for me -16/18 ample thigh and calf

I tried the MS cargo last year and they fit me well too.

I seem to have a problem worth tapered style, I love them and generally they fit my thighs but no chance with my calves 😭

Thank you. What do you style these with, what kind of top? And trainers?
