Ive been invited to a wedding reception in July (country house) and another wedding reception (the last time I went to a wedding was maybe 8 years ago and I’ve had two kids and I’m significantly heavier)
What do people wear to wedding receptions in 2023 when you are in your 40’s and a size 14/16? I’m also 5’ 2´ so often dresses are too long.
Pre DC I would have had a couple of shopping trips to find a dress, shoes and bag. In the next month. I’m going to be lucky if I get two hours to go shopping in the next month.
Wise mumsnetters can you recommend some brands to me that may have something suitable for a short, pear shaped 40 something please?
