Hair way too dark HELP 🥲

I’ve been to the hairdresser to get my greys done I’m a light/medium brown usually I did specify that I didn’t want it to go too red or ginger so we agreed a ash tone it’s now raven black I look like a witch what can I do?

Head & Shoulders will strip it. You’ll probably then need it toned again.

If you’ve actually got black hair when your asked for light ash brown then you need to go back to the hairdresser and get it fixed!

Vitamin C wash, basically it’s crushed up vitamin c tablets mixed with a clarifying (or anti-dandruff) shampoo, Google it for method, should lift dye out. It can leave your hair quite dry though.

Get some hair colour stripper from a chemist or order online. It will remove most of the colour applied to your hair. Then you can start from scratch with a colour of your choosing. This is what I do after I have dyed my mop a dozen or so times as it prevents build-up.
