Warm dressing gown

I can't believe I'm asking this in (almost)June

I need a warm dressing gown, but ideally not a bulky one.
Prefer something that looks nice, I guess.

I had one that was really tatty, gave it to the charity shop in April thinking I'd buy another in autumn.

Any ideas? Under £50 for budget. A dark colour would be better. Thanks.

I was given one from M&S once and it was amazing. I’ve no idea if they still do them or whether it is seasonable if they do, but it’s worth having a look.

I have the zip one from M and S and i bloody love it.

I recently ended up buying a men's one!

All the affordable women's dressing gowns were knee length or just below and i wanted a properly long one, because once i curl up on the sofa knee length turns into bum barely covered length.

Also a lot of the women's one's were either silky sexy satin or stupidly fluffy like a kid's dressing gown and i wanted neither.

The men's ones have nice big pockets and wrap right round you nicely.

I've got the White Company towelling one - it's about £50 from Bicester Shopping Village but £65 online, although you can normally get a discount code. It's so lovely when you get out of the shower on cold mornings, but also really warm over PJ's. I love wrapping myself up in it.

I’ve got a joules one. So soft and warm with a hood as well for when it’s extra cold.

After a lot of trawling a few months back I bought this- lovely length, cozy, not bulky, good price, pretty without being 'twee'.

Sorry, just spotted you said dark colour. I bought this in dark grey as a Christmas present for a family member, after it was recommended on another MN thread. It's really good quality (I was concerned that quality might be dubious from a random Amazon seller but definitely not)

Alas, I don't think I can buy that one as I'm 5'.

now I can't find anything as nice! @FireandBrimstone you've spoiled me 😂

Ok if it helps, I just went and put that Amazon one on. I'm 5'2. I'd say there's a c.7-9in between the bottom edge of the gown and the floor.

Really? I'm looking at buying XL as I'm a size 16. Looking at the comments - there's no actual measurements - it looks like it would be too long. I'll contact the company and ask for a full set of measurements.

I bought a quilted kimono from here https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/PrintedfabricStore?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1128468998 back int he autumn. I adore it, and it's ridiculously warm.
