Could I periodically use a honey blonde toner on my partially grey hair?

I’m trying to work out what to do.

I have highlighted hair which I’ve let grow out for around 4-5 months. I honestly don’t want to bleach it anymore. My natural hair colour is a pretty nice colour. Brown, white and more silvery grey. It’s curly and looks okay. But I need to decide what to do now.

I was looking at the crème masks that deposit colour in the hair and just wondered if using a warm toned/caramel toner periodically would tone my grey at all or whether only bleach would penetrate the hair shaft?

I'm interested in trying this too.

I've been Googling and researching this for a couple of years and so far come up blank.

You'd think it would be easy right? All I want it to colour the grey blonde without touching the rest of my mousy colour hair. But no.

I use this, cheaper than chips from superdrug. Comes in lots of colours, I use it about once a week. Just wished they did it in a larger size!

@Creasedover382 does that work for you? I’m impressed! I’m quite white at the root and looking for a solution that’s a bit easier than permanent dying constantly (my hair grows v quickly so it needs doing everything week or two at the most. I have used those Superdrug semis before but only when I had blonde hair to tone the brass out. Does this cover greys in your case?

It works for me although I don't have roots as such just random white hairs! It just blends them in.

Thanks! I’ll give it a try!

Brilliant! I shall try that also ♥️
