I'm a size 16 and approx 5ft 6 in tall.
Since having my DC I've been unable to shift the belly fat :(
I usually wear jegging or jeans with long tops that go to the thighs.
I also have a couple of spanx shapewear items to wear under my clothes, although tend to save them just for special occasions as they're not the comfiest.
This weekend, I'm going away with someone I've been seeing for a while and chances are, we might be physical for the first time. Obviously, I don't want him seeing my spanx suit (makes me feel like Mrs Doubtfire lol)... How can I try to disguise my rather large belly?

  1. Turn the lights off
  2. Stick to missionary position so the fat falls away to the sides
  3. Have a glass of wine, stop fretting and enjoy yourself. Your partner is probably also worrying about wobbly bits/performance issues etc too!

Am the same size/shape as you - I lost two stone in lockdown but managed to rediscover them pretty quickly after Blush anyway, been seeing a guy for several months and was very conscious of my size. He genuinely loves my curves, he's seen pictures of me in a bikini when I'd lost the weight and says he honestly prefers me how I am now, more curvy. I call it fat, he calls it fit 🤷🏼‍♀️
When I take a step back I can see his perspective - the likes of Kelly Brook are much more appealing to a guy than Gigi Hadid. Ignore the media, be as confident as you can and your guy will love it x
