Help me find shorts. Please!

I'm off to Barcelona in August and fully expecting it to be as hot as it was last year! This year we're going for longer and so want to take advantage of the beach. I really need shorts for this as when I wear dresses I wear snag shorts underneath and don't fancy having to take them on and off, plus the bikini top I've got is more like a tankini with a ruffle so a dress won't fit over it.

Anyway! I would love shorts however I'm super self conscious of my legs and don't want anything too short and would also like them to be floaty. Almost like coulottes I guess. But I can't find anything that fits the bill.

Finding shorts that aren't too short can be hard, I know.

I've also had luck in the past with M&S.

M&S have chino and cargo shorts that cover my thighs and I'm 5.9

The M&S ones are a bit hard to tell short length becuase the model looks like she's 6ft tall, most of that coming from her legs!

I think they could still be a little short. I actually got lovely ones from Yours last year but they shrunk so badly in the wash!

I was coming on to say m and S. they have boyfriend shirts tvst are a bit longer, some cute wide leg cropped trousers, and the cargo shorts-all in three lengths.
