Has anyone used them. Is the stuff true to size and are they reliable actually sending it?

My son did a large order recently and I have to say it's was all lovely and surprisingly good quality. He's a fit teen though so can throw on a bin bag and it fits so I don't know about sizing. He did have to return one thing (becasue he ordered a medium boys not a medium man's) and it was really straightforward.

It's obviously true that E5P is a symptom of a bloated fashion industry, @Res_Ipsa - in a better world, there would be no overstock for them to sell. But the article's author seems to suggest that brands keep pushing their factories to step up production because E5P exists!

That's a bit of a reach, to put it mildly. It would mean the brands ordering thousands more items, specifically to sell on at £1.50 each. They wouldn't do that while they can keep adding new designs to sell at £45 each. The overstock happens because they want to be able to fill every retail-price order they get.

She rightly points out that E5P never positioned itself as green, or as a solution to the garment industry problem. We can work out for ourselves that a purchase from there keeps a garment out of the bin for a while longer, much as buying second hand does

... and if we all shopped only outlet or pre-loved, brands would lose their incentive to keep churning out new stuff. (Then millions of people worldwide would lose their jobs, shitty conditions and all. Gah!!)

Shein are actually opening 30 stores across the UK soon, not sure when! I can't bloody wait
I buy alot from shein always really happy with items and generally they fit, the odds and ends that don't get sent back and really quickly refunded! I'm always very happy with about 95% of the items I buy from them and actually they wash well and do tend to last, I've got items I ordered from them a couple of years ago still going strong! I think aslong as you look out for the pictured reviews and if you have a preference to which materials, look on the description of the products and you really can't go far wrong! Also they list the measurements on the actual size you choose e.g s, m, l, xl or 10,12,14 this is always a great indicator for me whether a skirt or dress will fit my waist, thighs etc! I have ordered some amazing items on there which you really wouldn't guess are even from shein all 100%cotton or silk too, I've been stopped in the street numerous times to be told my dress/bag whatever is lovely and where did I get it from always the same reply "shein" to be met with utter surprise!
Hope that's helpful😊

UK also have distribution hub. But due to many factors the shein express delivery time may vary and that sometimes the major concern for Shein buyers.
