Boots Future Renew - side effect!!

I have been using the full range since 20 April
I have just noticed that around my eyes (where I have used the eye serum) it seems to have bleached my skin!!!! And my freckles have disappeared!
At first I thought it must be the light / my imagination but it definitely isn't!
Anybody else found this?
I am trying to get pics to compare

Isn't it supposed to treat the signs of sun damage, which would include tan and freckles

Hey! :) I'm a skin practitioner here, I've just looked up the ingredients and seen it has niacinamide and Vitamin C in which are both ingredients that will fade pigmentation, I say to my clients often if their freckles are something they don't wish to fade then not to use any ingredients that fade pigmentation as although freckles are an inherited feature they also occur due to UV rays so some freckles will fade with the right ingredients. I'm sorry to hear you're freckles have gone when you didn't wish for this to happen. I recommend avoiding using this on any areas of pigment you don't wish to fade as the ingredients will work on doing so I'm afraid x

I have had my freckles soooo long that I had forgotten that they are a sign of skin damage!
