Teen red nose

Dd13 has the odd spot on her chin and forehead, so far so normal. However her nose is constantly red with a couple of under skin spots and blemishes, a couple of which you can see come to a bit of a yellow head. Like constantly, they don't come and go. They get worse and ease up but are always there.

She's not a natural one for skin care (shower dodger until forced) but she does wash her face with a simple skin wash every night. Whilst this has definitely had some impact (and other spots have improved), this constant inflammation has not.

She's medium bothered about it - nasty boys at school have called her Rudolph which she generally ignores but you know...

Can anyone suggest anything? It's not typical acne but normal teen spots don't linger like this.

i'd try smearing her nose with sudocrem at bedtime, see if it reduces the redness a bit

Could it be rosacea? I’ve started to suffer with this since hitting peri but teenage hormones are haywire too.
I have some cream from Boots - No 7 overnight redness and blemish reducer, and it seems to be working.

Thanks both - I'll
Look for that cream from boots.

Don't want to make her paranoid but also don't want it to bug her, she's a sensitive soul

Green make up can help reduce redness. You can get colour correctors that go under concealer/foundation and it takes the edge off the redSmile
