Shorts that aren't super short?

The sun is out and I'd like to get my legs out but...I'm not at all ready for super short shorts which seem to be the only way to go this season. Can you lovely people help me find something which doesn't leave me wanting to stand with my back to the wall all the time lol?

There's loads everywhere. I was on. Sainsbury's earlier and they had Bermuda shirts, ditto next.

I just got some linen blend shorts from next (own brand). Come to just above the knee - I'm 5ft 5.5
Also did not want shorts that show my thighs off!
