Blisters

I have got blisters on the back of both heels after walking around in leather boots. That was with insoles. does that mean the boots are too small or too big?or they are the right size and need to be broken in in which case how do I do that without damaging my heels again once they’re healed?
am I stuck inside for 2 weeks till the blisters have healed or is there a way to walk in without pain

Compeed blister plasters are brilliant, they'll protect the blisters til they heal, and they seem to help with the pain too.
If shoes are rubbing its usually because they're moving, so slightly big. Maybe you could try heel grips. Or is the leather really hard? For my docs I kept bending the leather to and fro to soften it, and used some softening oil on them, but you might not want to do that if you want to keep them brand new looking.
