I like quite hippy style clothes normally floaty flowery dresses. I’m 5”4 size 10 can spend up to £200 don’t mind length of dress. I Have big boobs so tend to wear a vneck. I really am stuck and also needs to be next day delivery any clues? I’m also really pale. Please anyone able to find me a dress I no longer have a clue!

Well maybe you should stop thinking about whether it’s appropriate or what your mil would say and just pick the first dress that you really really like and makes you happy. And if that has hippy vibe so be it. If it’s terribly smart and a bit intimidating, that’s ok too. Have fun

Those Silk Fred kimono dresses come in more than one colour. Personally they’re not my style but that’s only because I’m picky!

I agree, it’s not wedding type at all to me. Yes you could wear it to a wedding (and save it for that) but you could easily wear it to a landmark birthday celebration like this with strappy sandals etc. The colour and pattern is gorgeous. I think the Ghost one is too plain (I’ve had original Ghost dresses from 2000s) and the Oasis one for me is too short but nice enough.

I wore a Next liberty shirt dress about a year ago to my DM’s belated 80th birthday party where all the other guests weren’t dressed up, but I like dresses and suit them. Wore it with sparkly silvery shoes from Anthropology too.

This would suit your body shape better. But if you're pale then usually florals and pastels tend to work better.

Think the oasis dress would be best going by your height if weather in your area as nice as where I am think black not best summery type dress,

Second dress with denim jacket over so it feels more chilled for a pub garden?
