I hate summer * wails *

Just that. Am never happier than when autumn looms, and I can resurrect scarves, cosy jumpers and thick tights

Now it's getting warmer and I never know what to wear for work. My usual uniform over the past few years has been slim (ish) trousers, t shirt and cardi. Boring, really.

Can anyone inspire me, please? I'm 5'7" (and a little bit), size 12/14, apple-shaped. Hate my tummy. Work in a relaxed environment where pretty much anything goes.

I like clean, minimalist lines, nothing too fussy or too patterned. Uniqlo has been my friend in the past.

Oh, and I tend to cycle sedately to work, so while flowy is out, dresses may still be a possibility

Thoughts? Thanks!

At your height and weight there is plenty you can wear. You need a day shopping and trying on in a big city. Try dresses!
if you like unfussy try Cos, Arket, Hush, Uniqlo, some M&S. some plain Boden

Good call on Cos and Arket. I like Cos stuff: nearest store is a 40 min train ride away, but that's not a problem. Not familiar with Arket - will take a look!

I have quite a lot of stuff from Hush and Uniqlo, so definately worth another look.

Thank you!
