I'm in what I describe as my Dora Explorer trousers today. They're Rohan walking trousers which I shan't inflict on you all bit which are perfect for all the outdoor jobs I must do today.

Gorgeous trousers @OublietteBravo - I love Anthropologie too. I am knackered after a long week with mental work stuff and settling my new rescue dog (with the other rescue dog, cats, etc). Slip dress from ASOS with a longline cardigan from Vila.

Wow, thank you! The trousers are not what I usually wear, especially in BROWN 😱 but they felt great on. Going to try more tops to pair with this colour, I don't think the material will dye well anyway.

@evtheria those aren't beige they're mink. I wear that colour a lot and pair it with dusty pink, smoky blue, sage, dove grey, smoky purple, French navy 🙂

Busy day today like yesterday, baking and cooking for DD1’s surprise baby shower tomorrow. DD has planned everything and DH has gone up for the weekend to stay with DD1 to help with decorating ( which he never ever does here btw) and tomorrow afternoon he will ‘leave’ then meet up with all the family and friends invited to the venue. Hoping he doesn’t spill the beans as he’s not good at keeping secrets! Obviously DD and I can’t go but hoping we can at least call in for a bit. We have made so many cakes and scones and savoury things and DS is doing a ‘bagel bar’ , we have mocktails and everything we could think of! Photo of the cheese scones at least to show how excellently they have risen!

Oh and highlight of yesterday was watching DH try on smarter trousers for the shower and almost pml at him trying on a pair of my old work chinos thinking they were his ( I’m sized 8 he is waist 34)
