Seriously @faffadoodledo , the majority of my items of clothing have been with me since before the DC, so about 10years or so. I really actually prefer my older items, and it is really refreshing to me when I see someone wearing something from long ago, that they have revamped or styled with something unexpected. Please don't feel that you have to buy things new for the thread. ❤️

Today - pocketed dress!
Breton, bought in Brittany last week. Well, I had to re-stock!
Very ancient jigsaw wedges which always remind me of the type of shoes the stylish mums wore at school fetes in the 1970s! If I had some cheesecloth I'd wear it to complete the look!

Ps that's not a mucky mirror. It's odd reflections and the result of a Live Photo I think. Or hope!

Lovely summery outfits! It’s so hot and muggy here, that combined with menopause is not good! I’ve been throwing on my thinnest coolest clothes which is a bit frustrating as I want to wear my nice summer things!

I'm struggling with this heat while down south so loose clothes today. Comfort for the 6 hour drive home tonight too. Primark all over.

Everyone looking great, as we all wait for thunderstorms! Wearing a suit yesterday obvs freaked me out, lol, and I have scuttled back to my safe ‘dress and nice shoes’ look! Shoes are Casadei - just love these, turquoise is my second fave colour (after purple, in case you didn’t know, lol). Dress is a new one from Saint and Sofia. Not a brand I have had good experiences with in the past as the quality was rubbish. However thought I would give them another go, and I do like this dress - decent quality jersey, not too thin. You can’t really see in the pic but there’s a slash detail at the neck which is nice.

It's the end of an era! Last exam for DS2 who is off to 6th form in September, when DS1, who finished A levels on Tuesday, will go to uni. Just got back from bringing DS2 home and took a picture in the garden among our vegetable plots. Wearing Icebreaker Merino/Tencel dress from 2017 and sandals bought on holiday in Seville in 2019. Lovely to see all of your summer dresses, realise I've been absent from here for a while.

We had thunderstorms here last night but back to stuffy heat again now… I’m off to meet a friend in London this evening so will be changing later, but for now:

Hot hot hot. Beach later for a cooling dip. Though the sea water is warm.
Jigsaw linen dress. It's billowy and has holes in the bodice to let the air through. I save it for the hottest days every year!
Faffdog has already had his swim so is looking extra scruffy!
