Today should be a lovely day. The two eldest are treating me to a day in London as a belated 65th birthday present. Lunch at Ottolenghi and the Beyond Impressionism exhibition t the National Gallery. Am nervous at leaving DD with DH for the whole day but hoping all my prep of her meals ahead of time will at least mean he feeds her!

I am already crumpled but the forecast is 28 so linen it is. Dreas
is Gant ( old) sandals Penelope Chilvers and the bag is a Sézane free tote big enough for inhaler and antihistamines and tissues and water bottle! I have a cute wicker basket inside too.

My god it was hot last night, I literally boiled my head off in bed, there was just no wind utterly awful! I'm gonna lose the cardi am already boiling, hoping a picnic in the shade at the park will do the trick and obviously an ice cream with dh and kiddies😁

Cowboy boots- they are older than my eldest who is 14, super comfy perfect for the park

@Sooverthemill forgot to add in london it's 30°c but feels more like 35°c there is no air or movement enjoy the air conditioning in the national art gallery😁

Had a lovely day. It was warm for sure but not overwhelmingly so though it was nice to find the odd bit of air conditioning. Did I mention how much I love the hot weather!

It's windy today but still warm, thank god there's a breeze, can't be doing with sticky, humid weather! as my dh calls it I get a "shimmering" sweaty top lip and it drives me mad, not very ladylike😆
