A Decent Claw Clip

Anyone got the best ever claw clip that actually holds their hair up, and doesn't break because it's the crappy sort of plastic? Must be long, not the small or medium sized ones.

I have very thin but extra long hair, so 'fold' the ponytail over itself to bundle up, and a lot of the clips just slowly slide down as they don't grip tight enough. Or break, because they're flimsy and that metal spring section is cheap.

I have claw clips from Accessorize, New Look and Primark which all do the job for me (the Accesszorize one discoloured though) and I also have thin and long hair.

I did have one which was a 'smoother' finish on the clip, it was more shiney which I didn't find held well whereas the matt ones are better if that makes sense at all?

I get ‘bulldog’ clips from New Look, they are the only thing which can hold my hair up.

They're not very exciting to look at but they work very well and not too £££. My hair is longish and thick. Not fine, but the description says they are good for fine hair too.

Anthropologie has some nice ones, some are unusual shapes. One shows the model with her ponytail folded over as you mentioned.

I got some from Shein and despite being super cheap they're actually really strong and hold my thick hair up when other clips just fall out or snap!
They look small but hold a surprising amount of hair up.
