I've very recently had a beautiful baby boy. I'm happy for that to be reflected in my body but I still look at least 7 months pregnant and would love some clothes that work around this. I know I should embrace my body as it is but we have loads of visitors coming and I'd rather not look pregnant.

I'm 5'7 and slim build - usually a 10. My boobs are medium size but way smaller than my belly so clothes that are loose but end up hanging from the bust won't hide the bump. My bump during the pregnancy was very large and all to the front.

I would love some help to find some clothes!

Oh 8 should have said - I'm a jeans and top or leggings and long top type of girl

I used a Belly Bandit. Helped support my section scar and encouraged my abs to come back together. It just created a feeling of being supported in the core too. But ultimately, the belly will return to normal in its own time, and you’ve only just had a baby. Give yourself a break. But I know the feeling of not wanting to look pregnant, so I used the belly wrap and got on well with it.

High waisted leggings ( sweaty Betty are amazing)

Skimming t-shirts and magic trousers, I have both of these and when I wear them together people always ask me if I've lost weight, I haven't but the T-shirt floats over my tummy and the trousers don't create a muffin top!

Thanks for kind words. Yes I know - my body is amazing and I'm very proud of what it has achieved. This pregnancy has been hard won. I'm happy to look different but all my clothes both maternity and other are quite clingy. I just don't want to feel self conscious - sometimes going easy on yourself is about indulging yourself!

These look perfect! Will try to pick some up. What shoes do you wear with the trousers?

Wonders whether the belly bandit would work after 31 years?

Rina66 · 22/05/2023 11:46

🤣 that's exactly what I thought @GettingStuffed

@Janefx40 I wear my magics with all sorts of shoes as you can roll them up or tuck them under to crop. So I wear New Balance trainers, Birkenstock type sandals, wedge sandals and in the winter chunky boots or sock boots with my black ones.
