Gypsy Water dupe

Had anyone found a decent, long-lasting dupe of Byredo’s Gypsy Water? The original had really poor longevity on me, as does the Perfume Parlour version which is also quite a bit more citrussy. It’s a beautiful scent but no way am I paying to whack for something that only lasts an hour on me!

Following as I've not found one either. The original is so weak it may as well be eau de cologne.

Yup. For the price the PP one is decent, and cheap enough to spray liberally, but I find it the only way it lasts a decent amount of time is to spray it on my clothes. The lemon sherbert-ness (not a word) is just a little too pronounced. Tried Essence Vault but really didn’t like any of those so not keen to go down that route.

Have you tried the PP version as an extrait? They pack a much greater punch.

No that’s probably going to be my next best option. I’ve only got the 5ml sample spray, it’s definitely not the extract or oil. At the price I’m happy to give it a go. Their Le Labo Santal dupe is gorgeous though I have to admit I’ve not smelled the original. My bank balance is grateful for that 😂

Is there something going on with PP? Everything seems to be on a waiting list.

Not heard of it but it looks intriguing, I’ll give anything a go!

Eden perfume is really good and I think they do a vegan version if this. Eden perfumes are generally really long lasting.

That's the one. I've got a few eden perfumes and they are lovely - last really well. You can get a trial size set I think.

Update - the Eden perfumes do smell lovely and almost identical to the originals (Philosykos, Santal 33 and GW) but have no staying power on me at all, they don’t even last well on my clothes! 😫 Back to the Perfume Parlour I think - does anyone know what’s going on with them at the moment? Last I checked loads of things were out of stock.

They seem to go in cycles with their stock, I think they run down various ingredients and then when they get a new batch in everything comes back into stock. You can sign up for email alerts when things become available again.

That's a shame as the diptique and the molecule 01 from them are super long lasting on me..I have the gypsy water PP dupe too and it's a little too. Maybe something to do with the ingredients.

i got my Gypsy Water duped today from Eden and it lasted only 10 mins on me🙁 My friend did get a Creed Erolfa with much better results and it smells gorgeous

Yeh I’m going to hold out for the perfume parlour, the Eden ones do smell great but literally just evaporate away into nothing. Worth a shot at least, maybe GW is just a very tricky one to capture.
