How much do you pay for tret?

I’m thinking of getting the Obagi prescription but that’s £95-100

I tried Dermatica but I’m not sure if I can just purchase solely tret from them? As I did the consultation and it just gave me the bundle option.

Around £10. I buy it in Thailand when I'm on holiday.

About £2.50 per tube from family in India. Available OTC so ask any Indian friends or colleagues to pick you up a couple of tubes.

sauvignonplonk1 · 21/05/2023 13:52

I've bought from www.tretinoinworld.com

Helpful.

I answered your question.

I use skin and me but it's a combined prescription
Changed my skin beyond belief though!

largeprintagathachristie · 21/05/2023 15:06

Dermatica for me. Combined prescription of tret and azalaic acid.
it’s working wonderfully.

I’ve cancelled my subscription, though, as I just wasn’t getting though it fast enough, despite lengthening the time between deliveries as far as I could. I’ve got two bottles in hand, unopened.

i hear this is wrong because the product won’t be “fresh” but I’m kind of calling bollocks on that.

Will be travelling through Singapore and Bali soon; interested in hearing from those who have purchased there.

About £20 from tretinoin world. A tube lasts a year or so.

I stopped using tret in September 2020 when I started trying for a baby, and I've been either pregnant or breastfeeding ever since so I've not used it for a long while so maybe it's changed since then, but I used to use Dermatica and I just had tretinoin with nothing else. Quite pricey though considering the price you can get it OTC abroad. Not sure I will be able to justify the cost of dermatica again when I stop breastfeeding, likely later in the year.

I believe it's technically prescription only in Spain, but IIRC they tend to just give it OTC in practice - does anyone know if that's still the case?

TheOGCCL · 07/07/2023 13:13

I use Dermatica. I used to use Retirides bought OTC in Spain or ordered online but I find the Dermatica formula much gentler. Mine has tret and niacinamide. You definitely don't need to be buying the bundle with cleanser, moisturiser etc. Their USP is the tret.

How long does the Obagi prescription last?

Legselevens · 07/07/2023 13:19

I stopped tret in summer months and my wrinkles are very bad again. I wish I had never started it. Mine was from skin and me

lindyloo57 · 07/07/2023 13:23

I buy it when on holiday in Spain OTC around 20 euros maybe a friend you know going to Spain could get you some.

For those of you buying in Spain what do you ask for? Is there a Spanish name or just use the English word?

I got tree in Spain recently, it's called Retirides. Only just starting it now so I can't vouch for its work! It was around 20 euros I think.
