Any advice on what to wear please? Am plus one to a corporate invitee. Stressed.

Watching with interest - going on Friday but only as a regular attendee.

Comfortable shoes

On Monday or on normal viewing days? Your main issue is definitely going to be shoes, but if you have a summer trouser suit or similar you can get away with flats.

@SquirrelFan wear what you like - it’s very unsmart nowadays. I’ll be in a small hat to keep the sun off, best T-shirt or a shirt, loose cotton trousers and trainers. If you are with friends do what the Queen used to do and wear something bright so you can be spotted in the crowd.

I'd dress like I was going to a nice BBQ and prepare to be on your feet most of the day. I volunteered there a few years ago and wore a nice skirt, fine knit jumper and flip flops and felt like I fit in fine.

What did you choose?

Most of the women presenting on BBC seem to go for a long flowery dress and comfy trainers.

Many women choose a floral dress, I bought one after visiting. Wedges.
