DIY lash lift?

I have done a quick search but couldn't see anything recent - does anyone do at home lash lifts? Any recommendations/tips/advice (including 'don't do it')? 🙂

Hopeful bump - I’ve seen a lot of these kits pop up but never trust online reviews. Could any real life person vouch for an at home lash lift kit?

I’ve been doing them since the 2020 lockdown. It’s a bit fiddly, but I buy the ones with individual sachets of product and really good glue. Spend time making sure every lash is glued to the lift pad and be careful how far up the lashes you apply the product.

Do you do one eye at a time?

I did but now I can do both together, just about. My eyes aren’t closed ;)

Yes I bought one in April to try. Was frustratingly fiddly (im used to doing my own glue on eyelash clusters from Amor Lashes so thought id be able to manage it ok) and it was a disaster. I followed the instructions and ended up with eyelashes 2 mm long. They're only just getting back to normal. Never again!!!

Oh no! Two conflicting reviews! The ones I’m having pushed to me one FB are Sassy Saint and Luxe Lashes. The prior is interesting because they claim to have minimal phases to applying.

@AgnesNaismith it was the luxe lashes kit that I used. But I would never use any home kit again. Obviously I have most of the kit left over if anyone wants it ha ha!
