I think I would need more information on dress code. Do they mean Daz blue white? Would Ecru / off white be ok?is it a beach wedding? They tend to be. Wry smart. So a white linen suit. Anything else will be too hot.

We went to a wedding like this in Turkey once. Everyone looked great. Mostly smart shorts of chino material or light coloured chinos and white linen shirts.

Sounds spot on. Many wear chino shorts now at destination weddings and can still look smart. Full suit would be crazy for Greece in the summer. At a push Chino trousers and short sleeved shirt

There's a bridesmaid in the society (Princess someone or other) wedding in today's newspaper who didn't get the 'don't wear a long white floaty dress' memo, although her pashmina is pale pink. She does not look like The Bride!

I'd go with shorts. It's going to be hotter than the fires of hell in Greece in August. You can get sone nice tailored ones. I've been to lots of Spanish weddings and loads of the Spanish guys wear shorts if it's a summer wedding, so this could be normal in Greece too.
