Blazer length

hi, I'm 5ft 2 so petite, I'm on the look out for a black blazer to wear with jeans manly to smarten them up, I have one I brought from John lewis, but I think the length is wrong, it cuts across the middle of my bum, and just looks wrong, could it be to long , if you are petite do you wear a jacket that covers the bum, or what about a cropped one, I just got one from h&m it fits perfectly but it's polyester, the fabric i am trying to avoid. I only own biker jackets, so this is my first blazer for many years.

I think you should go for what suits you rather than what's fashionable. I'm not petite but I am short waisted so I look much better in cropped blazers. Longer lengths look terrible on me.

Try Mango and Zara for fitted, cropped jackets.

I'm 5'2" with a short back and Hobbs fits me well. It's not the overall length that matters, but the neck to waist length that ensures a good fit with the waistline sitting at the waist and not the top of your hips. Whistles and Ted Baker also fit me.

Im the same height as you. I have several blazers from River Island, including a black one. All have 3/4 sleeves and cover my bottom just right. They are classics which will never date. Love wearing them with jeans and a t shirt or over a dress when more formal x

Love the idea of three quarter sleeves, being petite the sleeves are usually too long. The jacket i have just brought from h&m has this sleeve length
