Has anyone got any recommendations? I am using one at the moment that is a lovely colour but too shimmery

I like benefit dandelion

Mercurial123 · 19/05/2023 15:25

Milk makeup in Perk

Nars Babydoll. I'm a mozzarella and in fairness this one is a tiny bit too pale pink for me even!

LuckyAmy1986 · 19/05/2023 15:31

Thanks I'll check these all out.

@NowZeusHasLainWithLeda can you send me a link to that one please? I can find Nars blushers but not one called babydoll!

I agree with benefits dandelion, it's been my go to for over 10 years.

AthenaWhite · 19/05/2023 17:08

came on to add Benefit Dandelion.

LuckyAmy1986 · 19/05/2023 18:13

Fab sounds like that might be a winner!

Dandelion is great, and I also recommend Lancôme Blush Subtil - does what it says on the tin.

Bovrilla · 19/05/2023 18:35

Dandelion is great and not sparkly
For bronzer use the No17 one, it's top notch!

Revolution blush stick also excellent, sheer and dewy

Niftythrifter · 19/05/2023 18:36

Collection cream blusher. Cheap and gives a nice subtle colour. (In the stick)

LuckyAmy1986 · 19/05/2023 19:45

I have never been able to get on with cream blusher, I just don't know how to put it on right! I feel like I have more control with a powder one for some reason. I love the look of cream ones though

@learieonthewildmoor the tenderly colour looks perfect for me! I might have to give cream ones another go!

I like the max factor creme puff. Nude mauve is my favourite. Really subtle. Dupe for hourglass

learieonthewildmoor · 19/05/2023 19:51

I looked at a bunch of “How to put on blush” tutorials on the internet and am now less clumsy at it. 😁 The multistick is good because you draw a line
/ make dots and blend with finger or a brush, super easy.

🤣 I am so sorry, no idea where I got that name from! Why the heck did I think it was called that- it's called the not remotely similar Sex Appeal 🤣

Dinneronmybfpillow · 19/05/2023 20:28

Dandelion was my go-to for years but I've been experimenting with cream ones and I'm converted.
Tiny budget but both the Revolution stick one and Maybelline Cheek Heat in Rose flush are great.

LuckyAmy1986 · 19/05/2023 20:32

@learieonthewildmoor thank you!

@NowZeusHasLainWithLeda haha! I was googling for ages 😂

I'm very pale and use Trinny Elektra or Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in the palest (think its rose quartz).

handydandynotebook · 19/05/2023 20:39

Pat mcgrath labs fluertatious

Tullefairy · 19/05/2023 20:42

Very pale and I use Benefit dandelion or Nars orgasm. Recently started using a touch (apply very carefully with a gentle hand after dusting off excess) of Benefit crystah. It's a lovely contrast with pale skin.
