Hi All. I have an event in a couple of weeks which due to the timings I will be having my hair put up after my make up. My preference would be to do my make up last so I look fresh on arrival as it will be about a 45 minutes drive to the venue, plus I will need to drive approx 10 mins to and from the hair salon.
Ive not done it this way round before and so I am a little concerned my make up will start to look a bit meh by the time I get there as it will be around 3 hours on from applying to arriving. I won’t really have much time from getting back from the salon for touch ups either, max 5 mins to reapply lipstick and a few basic bits but as I have dry skin if I start messing too much it tends to go dry.
On my wedding day my make up did last all day so my skin has the potential I just don’t know how.
Any tips? I already use setting sprays, small amount of powder etc day to day but my make up never looks immaculate all day long.
