Plus size holiday clothes

Hi All

Going to Spain next month and I am starting to look at clothes. I have piled the weight on and am currently a size 22 Blush I have lots of nice evening clothes but it is day time that I am struggling with. What do my fellow plus size ladies tend to wear for a wander round or going the beach etc. Don't really want to spend a fortune either really as doing weight watchers and hoping to be smaller for the next holiday.

18/20 - I wear loose shorts, vest tops, large floaty shirts - try Matalan, Primark, or Uniqlo (something you won't cry about if damaged by sunlotion) and I often buy menswear grandad shirts, as better fabric and cut.

River Island do Plus on their website, Simply Be & New Look online do nice fashionable plus size summer clothes, also try the Next website for various brands.

I'm size 16 which I know is smaller but I would recommend a swimsuit with cup sizes and ruching across the stomach.
I get mine from Simply Be, who do their own plus lots of brands like Figleaves etc.

Going to the beach - get short kaftans or long boxy fit T-shirts in pretty colours to throw on over your swim suit to wear up to a beach bar or if you get too much sun, short beach shorts are good too.
I find sliders are best for walking on hot sand.

Yours has loads of stuff, I ordered recently. I bought their green dress, best thing I've bought in years. YOURS Curve Apple Green Cotton T-Shirt Dress.

For going to town you could wear a short or long dress, if you need chub rub shorts like I do then I recommend The Big Bloomer Company short thigh shorts which are designed to be cooling in hot weather (and really are).

I wear cropped leggings (Seasalt) and tunic tops. I find Seasalt, Landsend and Next are good for plus sized clothing out of cotton fabrics.

Sea Salt, ok they do particular style , but they have good ranges and summery

I wear a glamorous nicely cut (with cups) swimming costume- with a long (knee kength) floaty shirt over it buttoned up if walking about - unbuttoned if on beach etc , or a knee length sleeveless dress with shrug or a thin long shirt over it

I'm bigger than you, and bought some tee shirt dresses for the last beach holiday which were so handy. I've just bought some from Shein and they're great.

TK Maxx often have large wafts kimonos which are lovely for holidays. I love mine and should probably buy a couple more

Taking Shape is an Australian company but they trade in the UK and I love their stuff. Sizing is generous, it's well made (unlike Yours and Evans) and their tops are all a bit quirky.

My summer uniform is 3/4 length linen trousers (Seasalt or Next) and a floaty top, with a pair of Skechers espadrilles.
