Having seen a couple of threads about wearing sequins to a wedding, is this appropriate?

Was planning to wear with a satin skirt I have which is black, emerald green and beige stripes and a pair of nude heels. Any opinions welcome. For context I'm a size 8, 5ft3 with a small ish bust. Thanks all.

I think it's nice but personally would wear that for a date night as I don't think it's very 'wedding-y'.

Although having said that it would probably work if it's an evening do you're going to?

Depends …

If you know the wedding party and guests have that sort of ‘look’ then I guess it would be fine. But it might look awfully flashy at a more sober, muted event.

I can imagine it looking more ‘appropriate’ with a trouser suit?

The rule for weddings is: Don't upstage the bride.

So nothing that draws inordinate amounts of attention to yourself (and obviously nothing white). That top looks to me like it might break the rule.

But it depends on the crowd and the venue and the time. It might be perfectly appropriate for the wedding you are attending.
