Highlighted curly hair

Is anyone willing to share their curly highlighted hair pics with me please? I am considering having light blond highlights. My hair is naturally an espresso brown but my ends are quite light naturally. My only concern is I have long curly 2c/3a hair which is quite dry and frizzy. I can imagine lightening it will draw attention to the frizz and could dry it out and make it look like a big cloud of blond frizz. Is this a terrible idea? Can you talk me into/out of it please? 😁

Following. I think highlights can look amazing on curls. I've got a colleague who has the most beautiful curls - dark brown with highlights. It looks so good. I should ask her where she gets it done.
Dye is drying though so if there's already some damage you might need to have a good trim before you get it highlighted.

My curly hair always looks much better highlighted. It'll be fine as long as you limit heat and use decent conditioners/masks which curly hair needs anyway

Do you have a pic you are willing to share at all? No worries if you don’t want to. I know I can just Google images but I really like to see real life women from the UK. There is a lot of stuff on Pinterest but these are all model like women that have stylists and endless time to be spending on their hair, whereas I look like I’ve been dragged through a hedge most days by my 10 month old baby 🤣

Ah see this is what I’m worried about. Did you manage to sort out the dryness or did you just have to grow it all out?
