Dress for wedding guest who hates dresses

I hate wearing dresses. I live in the same joggers and my work trousers and the same comfy t-shirts and shirts.

I have a posh wedding to go to. I need something nice to wear please help! I am size 14/16. I don't want anything that is tight- it can't be tight around my bum, my boobs or my tummy. It has to be nice fabric preferably cotton absolutely no static. I can just about cope with a tie around my waist. I must be able to go to the toilet easily. And wear a bra with straps. I need to be able to wear it with my boots or close toe shoes. Bonus points if it's long enough for me to wear without tights - I can tolerate them for the service and photos but that's about it.

I'm a big fan of kimono tops as well, can look dressed up but relaxed with trousers/skirt and a cami top.

My favourite brand for clothes that are a bit different and quirky. You can actually find a lot of their stuff on Vinted only worn once as seems a lot buy an outfit for a special occasion then sell on for a fraction of the price

Look at lagenlook stuff. Floaty and comfy and suits flats. I get my flats from Hot Chocolate Design shoes. I absolutely hate dressing up.

What about a plisse co ord trousers and shirt? Stretchy, soft and comfy

I would go try some on see what your comfy in. Everyone can make suggestions but really you have to try it on. Next have lovely dresses. Good luck

I am in a similar position to op. I would happily go and try thins on but all the shops are vanishing. I scroll through sites but i don't know what the sizes are like. Or the cotton turns out to be polyester.
