Daily sunscreen for reactive skin?

Sorry, I know the sunscreen thing is being done to death at the moment.

Mid 50s with rosacea prone, slightly oily skin. I normally use La Roche Posay Effaclar products on my face, and have tried both the Effaclar Duo with SPF and a couple of daily facial sunscreens that they make, but all give me bumpy, spotty skin after a couple of days.

Has anyone found anything else that avoids the spottiness? Can probably fork out for one more 😂

Should have said, to wear with make up and not shiny making!

I have terrible rosacea and use this one - did this one react with your skin?

I've never gotten on with LRP sunscreen either, they put something in it that makes me react horribly.

Bioderma Cicabio SPF50 is good for sensitive and reactive skin, slight shine but not greaseball. Avène is usually a good brand for sensitive skin, just avoid the ones with fragrance in. My favourite at the moment is Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun, not greasy, soothing ingredients, lightweight and perfect under makeup but not something you can just buy on the high street.

Thank you both so much!
@Fibonacci13 I have the attached one and a similar one that is oil free/matt. Thanks for linking that other one, might be worth a try!

@botemp
That's so funny, I was just looking on Amazon and they have Beauty of Joseon products! It has good reviews on there too.

People have been sold fakes on Amazon so I'd avoid buying them there. The South Korean beauty online stores based in the UK are fine though. Stylevana and Yesstyle will be cheaper but they're based in Hong Kong and South Korea so will take a few weeks to get to you.

My skin is very reactive to sunscreen and I'm getting on well with cerave spf 50 - works as both moisturiser and sunscreen

I've been using REN Clean Screen for a couple of weeks now, and I'm really impressed. I prefer mineral sunscreens, but always struggled with the white residue. This actually disappears and is mattifying, actually no greasiness at all. I just wish it was cheaper!

ScreenPrinting · 16/05/2023 09:42

Heliocare mineral tolerance fluid is perfect for my easily-upset skin.

CovetedAsFuck · 16/05/2023 09:43

Ultra Violette Clean Screen is really lovely

Oh really? Thanks for the warning, I wouldn't have had a clue 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have (diagnosed) skin allergies to 11 ingredients so have to be so careful.
I've recently started using the Bondi Sands one, after having previously used Eucerin and Le Roche Posay, and I love it
