Help to match shoes/bag

Got this Ted Baker dress for an outdoor Scottish wedding.

Which colour of heels and bag would you match? I don't like silver and I feel like green may be just too much green. I have nude but it looked a bit off. White/cream maybe?

Personally I'd go for lilac but I'm not particularly fashionable! Sorry I'm not much help

Pale pink shoes and bag will go with this pretty green dress. It will not clash either. Better than nude which will look to wishy-washy as you say.

Thanks, I think that could be quirky in a good way

Thanks, I do think an extra splash of colour could be nice

If in doubt, you can never go wrong with black or white. Depends on the shoe style, time of the year, weather. Balance it out with a bracelet, earrings.

desperatehousewife2 · 14/05/2023 21:24

I would go with a pale or blush pink too

Lamelie · 14/05/2023 22:23

Black definitely not.
A pastel- as pp have said, lilac would be good.

TizerorFizz · 14/05/2023 23:12

@AlbaAurora
A pale pink is a good idea. The other type of “fabric” that would look good is rafia or straw or similar. A wicker bag would look great. These are natural looking and could work really well by adding textures and interest. Lovely dress by the way.

I would avoid navy or black. Too overpowering.

How about say a cream/white bag and green shoes (or the other way around)?

Alternatively either green or cream shoes with a straw or basket type bag.

Will you be wearing anything else? A hat, shawl, cardi, jacket? If so can you match shoes and or bag to that?

Rina66 · 15/05/2023 13:42

I think you need to keep in mind that there's already a black element to the dress, albeit at the back, so perhaps black shoes could work?
