i have some dark patches / spots and was looking for recommendations This gets good reviews but is £45
happy to buy it if it works but don’t want to make an expensive mistake
any one else recommend it ? Or any other product ?

Laser treatment for your condition is more effective than any serum.

The Ordinary do a Zinc and 10% Niacinamide serum, I think you can get it at boots for about a tenner.
Be careful though it's quite strong - I usually mix it with moisturiser.

Thanks for the replies , laser sounds a bit expensive, will see how it goes with a serum first

I prefer the niacinamide serum from Geek&Gorgeous to the one from The Ordinary - it's cheap too.

Def no need for LRP. Try any cheaper one like the Ordinary
