Short Hair Help

I am looking for help/ advice I am 40 and really want to cut my hair to a short pixie style ( photos attached)
I have dyed blonde frizzy thin ( but a lot of it) hair and I have a lot of grey / white roots coming through. Not enough to go naturally grey yet. I’m worried about 2 things, how rubbish it could look with regrowth. Also as it’s naturally frizzy ( think Bon Jovi in the 80’s) I’m slightly worried I’ll look like the last photo…. Any help or guidance would be great…

No photos attached but you can straighten your hair in a pixie and style with hair wax.

I have really curly hair but when I had a very short crop it was too short to curl or frizz, and looked straight. Very easy to manage actually, maybe I will have it all chopped off again.

I have curly long hair but a pixie cut it's straight. When it's due a cut ot turns up a bit so I straighten the front. Much easier than trying to tame frizzy longer hair

@Coffeeandcake12 thanks so much! I am so sure I want to do it. My hair is tied up 90% of the time anyways so this won’t look so different until it’s down! Do you think you will grow it out ever?

No I don't think so it's so much easier and mine was always tied up anyway!

How long is your hair at the moment is it a bob? If not I would go to bob length and see how you get on maintaining that in terms of hair cuts. Then you'll know if you can commit to the regular cuts a pixie requires to look good.

@pokabubble my hair is shoulder length right now. Over the years I’ve had a million hair styles, overcuts, undercuts etc. Hair dresser maintenance will be ok as I’m in for a dye job every 6 weeks at a minimum anyways ( my hair is very grey/ white in parts )
I had an undercut in 2021 and loved it, it made my everyday hair so much more manageable- the issue is the everyday and as my hair is quite frizzy there is not enough weight in a Bob to keep it frizz less.
i have had keratin treatments in the past too and they help. I am thinking if washing and drying / styling my hair is only 10 mins vs 30 mins I’ll make more of an effort each day! ( I could be wrong and you will see a “how do I grow out short hair in a few weeks 🫣)
