Eyelash growth serum

Suddenly I am seeing adverts for this everywhere and I am about to be suckered in. I have always had ridiculously tiny eyelashes - totally non-existent on the bottom and so short and sparse on top, that I am tempted. Anyone know if they actually work?

Latisse is the drug now available for eyelash growth. It was developed from a glaucoma med which caused patients eyelashes to grow longer thicker and darker (definitely saw this in action, lots of elderly men and women at my eye clinic with the most gorgeous eyelashes !)

Not sure about any other serums which are probably cheaper and easier to get (latisse was originally prescription only but not sure now)

I have been using uklash and my lashes are definitely longer. It took a month or so to really see an effect. I'm not going to keep using it as I think the overall effect on me was quite spidery. But it definitely worked!

I use Rapid Lash from Amazon and it’s definitely improved growth and length of my lashes. I gave it a go as I used Rapid Brow after I found my eyebrows thinner out after having kids

Another vote for UKLash - has also made mine longer in 4-6 weeks. Sadly the brow serum in need to work more is having no effect!

Another UK lash user here. Consistency is key, and a lash lift helps the effect.

How do you manage your lashes when they just get too long and unruly?

I did use a lash serum once that worked, too well. My lashes were so long they curled in all directions and looked bizarre. As soon as I stopped using it they just fell out.

As I understand how lash serums work, lashes are programmed to only grow to a certain length then fall out. The serums stop this process so they just grow and grow and grow. How does this work in practice?
