Art deco earrings for £250

Hello hive mind.

I have a big birthday coming up and am thinking of asking for a pair of either vintage or vintage-style (particularly love art deco) drop earrings. Gift budget is £250.

I have no idea where to look and my initial googling is finding things too cheap or too expensive.

Any ideas of shops/websites ?

Antique fairs or shops are where I've found the best, genuine art deco pieces. Also auction sales, you can bid online.

Thanks for your reply. I imagine you have some lovely things! I don't really have time or ability to trawl shops and fairs but I will see if I can track down some online auctions.

Also happy with replica items if anyone knows of a nice jewellery brand.

Sometime ago I looked for DDs birthday and found some on Etsy. Might be worth a look.

I’d call round local antique shops/jewellers with a second hand selection to get an idea of if they have anything that’s in your budget.

Otherwise Etsy is a good shout. I’ve done a quick search (only looking at vintage so sure there’s plenty more choice in vintage style!) and found these. Worth noting that for genuine vintage at that price point you’re likely looking at paste jewellery so if you want genuine stones then you’ll probably have to go for a modern reproduction.
