Maybe I am old, but I don’t understand the trend for bum bags being worn as cross body bags!! 😂 they just look a bit odd and surely the short strap means that they are hard to wear if you are wearing a coat or jacket? I love cross body bags but they need to have a decent length strap…

I'm ancient. I don't understand it. And they genuinely do make me think of collecting payment for deck chairs.

I don't know if it's even possible to wear them over a jacket. I saw a young woman on a bus today trying to work out if she could fasten her coat with one underneath it and eventually giving up.

I am cantering towards my 60's and succumbed to the Uniqlo bag a few days ago; it's blooming brilliant!

It can hold my Kindle AND a water bottle. More importantly I very much doubt that it will hold DH's sunglasses/Sat-Nav/wallet/any other crap he wants me to carry.

I've been wearing it under my jacket.

Oooh I love my uniqlo cross body bum bag. It's brilliant and holds so much in it. I wear it over jackets and it's fine. Someone commented on another thread about her ample bosom and it would look like a hammock for them, that made me chuckle! But love mine, it's fab.

I agree. Cross body doesn't mean the whole bag bit goes across your body. It's awful.

I think they'll be in for a while longer as they're so useful and comfortable. They declared white trainers and dresses 'out' but everyone rebelled and is still wearing them 🤣

I actually did try to give money to a man wearing one like that once. He was standing next to a Helter-skelter, but waiting for his child! So embarrassing.
