Foundation for very oily skin

Short version: my skin is very oily, but clear and I need a new foundation that can last more than a few minutes before sliding off.

Long version: I currently have a skin infection (a bit like impetigo) which means I’m going makeup free. I’ve tried to embrace it, going out for dinner tomorrow, Teams meetings at work etc but it’s not for me. I like a little foundation, blush, mascara, concealer usually. Quite light. I don’t know what caused it so I’m going to replace my foundation just in case but I’m not overly happy with it, or any other I’ve tried. My skin gets very oily very quickly although no breakouts. Is there anything out there?

Have you thought about using fake tan instead. I have the same problem and it works for me. I use clarins for body.

I haven’t no, I might try that when my skin is healed. In the meantime I’m looking at different products as a bit of a distraction.

I find the problem with fake tan is for me, I have some sun damage around three brown spots, and the fake tan make them look worse as they go darker.
