Trainers that are versatile/comfy/reasonably stylish

For the first time I'm in a job where I can wear trainers everyday. I'm on my feet a lot and most people do wear trainers. I'd like some that are reasonably smart, wearable with jeans, trousers and dresses and comfortable for walking around. And as less than €100 as possible! Thank you for any ideas

Hi have a pair of Adidas Earlham (see below) and I would recommend them as they look good with everything you have listed plus they are very comfortable (the leather is very supple).

No prob.😃
I forgot to say that they come up small. I am a size 6 but I wear a 7 in these.

Thanks, and I do want to love converse but my feet just ache after a while they're so flat!

I've recently bought a pair of Stan Smith adidas trainers. Look fairly similar to the ones mentioned upthread - they're really comfortable and look good with anything really.

All white air force 1
They are so roomy and comfortable and go with absolutely everything.

Bought DD Tommy Hillfige (spelling?) trainers at the weekend. She said they are very comfortable, she’s on her feet for 10/12 hours. Bought them in John Lewis. I think they were £120 so maybe over your budget.

You should try the new platform ones they are a lot less flat!

Sketchers always!

HelenHywater · 24/03/2024 14:12

I never know why people suggest sketchers on threads like these. Sure they may be comfortable for walking around in all day, but they are far from stylish. (sorry @cazcaz2 )

I have an Air & Grace pair that I wear to work (also not stylish I accept that, but look good with wide leg trousers). Also I have some Saucony ones (i got mine from Cos) and some from Me& Em. Out of work I generally wear Adidas Gazelles or Autry. (also have converse but find them less comfortable for a whole day).

For the summer, I'm going to try to branch out of trainers and am looking at the new mary-jane flat styles that are currently fashionable. I also have several pairs of loafers where I need to be a bit smarter.
