Threads for a more defined face

At the grand age of 50, my jaw line is beginning to flow strains into my back. I'm not over weight so I'm not sure if dieting would fix it. My face is losing definition.

My local beautician mentioned threads. I know nothing about them and Google is showing lots of ads but nothing I'm confident trusting. Has anyone had threads and has it been effective or is there something else I can try to firm up my jaw line

What does flow strains into my back mean?

I have the same problem at 51 too.

Everything I've read say they're ineffective, short lasting and a waste of money. Botox doesn't work for me so finding this out about threads was a double blow. I think a vertical face-lift is the only long lasting effective option, they look really fantastic.

But where does it end? I have just decided to put nothing in my face. However, if you search this forum, there was definitely a person posting about surgical solutions.
