To look less haggard??

How to I manage to look less haggard? My delightful "D" H said to me a while back that I always look haggard these days. Whilst I was offended he said it I think he's actually a bit right. I've got lines on my forehead, lines between my eyebrows and great big dark circles under my eyes. My skin is oily on my forehead, nose and chin yet flaky on my cheeks. My hair is oily at the scalp yet really dry and frizzy down the main lengths due to mostly washing and straightening daily and am just starting to get my first few greys.

With my hair I'm getting it cut and having an Olaplex treatment soon and then plan to follow the curly girl method afterwards as I'm naturally wavy so I know it's just rebelling to all the heat and styling.

I know I can't fix the wrinkles without Botox which I'm not prepared to do, but is there anything I can do for my skin so it's less crap and tired looking.

I'm 36. I don't get a lot of sleep due to early starts and late finishes with work and being a bit overwhelmed in the home. But I want people to look at me and not judge me for my appearance which is I'm worried they do after the comment from my husband. I've never worried before now, I just thought I looked like your typical mum. Now I'm worried I'm a mess.

Thank you

I'm 54 with good skin and zero wrinkles but my dh isn't a lazy cheeky cunt.

Agree @JaneJeffer the only time a free read past the paywall made me close the window after the first paragraph.

Reading with interest. I'm a clarins routine fan and that's lifted by 48 year old face to some extent but I'd personally be interested in how to get rid of chin and jowl issues if anyone has any top tips!

I'm 50 and fat and I feel good.
Exactly. Plump people don't look haggard.

Tell your husband that you would look a lot less haggard if he was a decent financial provider and you didn't have to work 11 hour shifts to support the family.

Bravo! Couldn’t have put it any better!

Your “D”H needs to learn to be tactful and respectful to you!

You don’t need Botox you need him to step up with household chores and this is honestly the best thing, a good sleep.

Well my plan to take care of myself better this week hasn't happened. Got some sort of bug, constantly dizzy and nauseas. Had to cancel my hair appointment and haven't got any housework done, house is a tip but wont be spending all weekend doing more chores to catch up as DH is away all weekend for football with the eldest so me and DD can just chill on the sofa with films.

Attempt number 2 to look after myself starts next week. Got a food shop chock full healthy stuff coming tomorrow and will use my pressure cooker to batch cook for the week.
